The problem is that some one some where is going to have an insane .rpmmacros,
or else Red Hat will change the default one and we will think this means
that the user is doing something.  I would vote for just including the
directory and making them where the script wants them to be made.
Remember, the real use of setting topdir in ones own .rpmmacros file is to
control where they get extracted to, not where they get built.  Thus I don't
see why any one would object to MLton building them in the MLton directory.
