My new implementation of regexps appears to be working. It has passed all my tests and I have ported mlprof to it as well. Quite happily, it sped up mlprof on one example I have lying around by a factor of 6x (from 6 sec down to 1 sec). I will release a new rpm tomorrow that includes the new regexp library.
