I thought ICFP was pretty good. The talk went very well; we got a lot of compliments on both the talk and the the analysis and on MLton as a whole. BTW, contest results are at: http://cristal.inria.fr/ICFP2001/prog-contest/ We were in the 10 finalists. Not too shabby.
