I tried to compile after incorporating your stuff, but got the following
errors.

main/../codegen/x86-codegen/x86-allocate-registers.fun:4929.11-4929.31 Error: unbound variable or constructor: coincident' in path Register.coincident'
main/../codegen/x86-codegen/x86-allocate-registers.fun:4965.11-4965.26 Error: unbound variable or constructor: allReg in path Register.allReg

Henry, this is yet another plea for CVS.  This is really hurting us.

As to the machine Matthew, you should definitely ask Greg to buy you some more
memory, or at least give you access to a 512M machine.  He should be able to do
so.
