In the absence of any major complaints in the next 24 hours, I will
send out a public release announcement tomorrow. Here's the
announcement.

We are pleased to announce a new release of MLton, the whole-program
optimizing Standard ML compiler. This is the first public release
since 20020923. The major improvements are:

+ Added source-level profiling of both time and allocation, with
output available as source-function call graphs.
+ Updated basis library to 2002 specification.
+ Added many modules to basis library:
    BinPrimIO, GenericSock, ImperativeIO, INetSock, NetHostDB,
NetProtDB, NetServDB, Socket, StreamIO, TextPrimIO, UnixSock.

For more information, go to the MLton home page.
