[MLton] MLton on intel mac

I figured out what you told me today.  I've been able to compile and  
run hello world, and I am compiling the full compiler right now.   
I'll send an update when I'm able to compile mlton with itself.

The changes I made will also align all C calls on x86 to 16 byte  
bounds.  I don't know enough about the frame layout within SML code  
to try this, but it doesn't seem to be necessary.
