[MLton] MLton on intel mac

Great news, I got it working.  MLton compiled with itself on an intel  
mac was able to compile itself again.

The mlnlffi library doesn't build (lacks memory.x86-darwin.mlb).   
I'll look at it but perhaps someone more familiar with the  
infrastructure should take a look.

Also, some of the tools make-pdf-guide expects aren't there by default.

Other than this, there seem to be no issues from what I can tell.

I'm busy at the moment, but I'll try to get an installable version  
made sometime soon.
