[MLton] compiled binary freezes on solaris during LargeReal.fromLargeInt()

It did rm -rf the directory in MLton 20070826.

It does not with the current SVN sources (r6853).

... and I don't know why. There is no explicit < rm -rf gdtoa > call and I don't understand what used to be done exactly in the clean scripts to achieve this.

Actually, it rm -rf's the entire gdtoa directory ...
