Me neither; I like hard tabs, and my editor doesn't convert tab to spaces.

Me too. I don't really believe the 'other people have different sizes'
arguement. This isn't the 1980s with VMS or whatever anymore. :-P

With regards to extra diff overhead:
Is this really a problem?
If it is, what's wrong with cvs dif -w/-b?
